The Police shop commenced trading on the 1st February, 2000 as a joint venture between NSW Police and the Police Association of NSW. The shop is administered by the Police Association and controlled by a committee consisting of seven members, four from Police Association of NSW and three from NSW Police.

The purpose of the Shop is to provide a retail outlet where customers can purchase quality promotional clothing, souvenirs, gifts and memorabilia with a policing in New South Wales theme. The shop is the only retail outlet to be licensed to use the NSW Police logo.

The shop is located within the NSW Police College, Goulburn. The range of items offered for sale from the Police Shop is extensive and has been provided based upon feedback from clientele.

The shop is opened during normal trading hours and is staffed by professional sales personnel. The shop is capable of doing large orders at very competitive prices and has the ability to accept local purchase orders from Commands.

Day to day management of the shop rests with the Police Association who in line with an agreement returns profits from sales to the College to provide facilities and equipment for the exclusive use of students.
